Courageous Leadership Case Study: Being strongly committed to leadership development, Aldridge Electric Company, a renowned electrical contractor based in Chicago, was looking for ways to develop its leaders to help the company prepare for future growth. Aldridge had used another training provider in the past, but had become dissatisfied with the company’s constant turnover in trainers. GLC worked with the senior team to understand their leadership needs (current and future), and designed a curriculum consisting of ten one-day workshops. Following a GLC recommended best practice, the senior leaders, including the company owner, were the first people to attend the workshops. Based on their positive experience, the program is now being “cascaded” to other management ranks, and a senior leader helps co-facilitate each workshop to help underscore the company’s commitment to building Courageous Leaders.
