Courageous Future Case Study: After having experienced GLC as a partner with a world-leading service organization, the new CIO of Equity Office Properties, the nation’s leading property management company, called on GLC to lead his strategic planning effort.  GLC conducted stakeholder interviews with key executives and employees, distributed and analyzed a “pulse check” questionnaire, and conducted a two-day planning retreat.  To increase the integrity of the plan, as well as the likelihood that the plan would win cross-division support, GLC recommended including the company’s other C-level division heads.  Then, to ensure “uptake” throughout the IT organization, GLC conducted a session with the middle management team.  The result was a courageous plan for the future, built on a foundation of company-wide support and commitment.
